Managing the Future Series

We are told by Australian managers that they are constantly striving to keep up to date with current management and leadership theory and practice, while also trying to anticipate future trends and market shifts.

Through research and publications AIM gives voice to the interests of managers in business, industry and government in Australia.

AIM undertook a comprehensive national study in September and October 2006 to determine the factors that influence an employee's decision to leave or stay with a company, the average length of service, and if employee engagement is influenced by company, individual or management related issues. Nearly 3000 people partipated in the survey, which is the second in a series of AIM Managing the Future Series.

The results of the survey have lead to the development of this paper on How Engaged are Your Employees at Work.
