International Affiliations

The Australian Institute of Management is part of a network of global management organisations, many of which offer reciprocal rights to AIM members.

If you are an AIM Personal Member travelling overseas and wish to avail yourself of these reciprocal rights, contact your local Division to arrange for a letter of introduction.

Asian Association of Management Organisations (AAMO) is made up of sixteen management organisations:

United Kingdom

Reciprocal arrangements with the Chartered Management Institute (UK) and the American Management Association allow AIM members travelling or working overseas the following benefits:

Chartered Management Institute (formerly the British Institute of Management)

AIM members will be given essentially the same membership benefits as a CMI member while they are travelling in England, including access to all events at CMI member prices, access to CMI online and information services through a time limited membership card, and access to third party services such as legal advice and discounted products.

United States of America

American Management Association

The American Management Association (AMA) has enrolled AIM as an "Association Member" of AMA on a complimentary basis. This would entitle AIM members to:

  • Register for 24/7 access to the AMA Members only website
  • Receive a monthly e-newsletter
  • Attend any AMA seminar or program, or buy any AMA book or self-study course at the member price
  • Gain access to any of the six AMA Executive Conference Centres in the USA and Canada by showing their AIM membership card
